Post Written Paper Exam Pecan Pie

Within the last 2 days, I have baked 2 pecan pies (of different variety). The first one with less success - it turned out like a chocolate pie instead of pecan pie (because I baked a chocolate pecan pie), the second one was a keeper - Maple Pecan Pie

Our Little Dinner...With Not So Little Food

Since we've never celebrated Christmas before, we also have never cooked dishes people cook for Christmas especially the roasted whole chicken/turkey so we thought this year, Let's try! As I told a friend once, I get satisfaction from cooking  So we gathered together (3 of us) and frankly I think it looked impressive  Sarah & Afikah prepared the appetizer, roasted veg & potato and most importantly the CHICKEN (which was juicy and yummy!) I prepared the stuffing, broccoli salad and the cheesecake. A LOT of leftover though..as usual
